Michelle DeCourcy

Women, humanity and an untamed spirit have been the driving force of Michelle DeCourcy’s 20+ year career. A girl-turned-fashion designer, Michelle has always played by her own rules. From an early age, she was always intrigued by the connection of music and personal style. Still in her 20s and armed with a finance degree from UC Boulder, she blended her creative talent with a savvy business acumen and took the fashion world by storm.

Inspired by the style of pioneering women and female musicians, she began designing in 1999 and was soon featured on the red carpet at the Grammies, Oscars and CMA while dressing stars like: Norah Jones, Jennifer Anniston, Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Allison Krauss, Cheryl Strayed, Shirley Manson, Gwen Stefani and Storm Large.

Her designs sold in her own Portland concept stores and 250 specialty retailers throughout the US and Europe including Mark Shale, Intermix and Ikram. White House/Black market and Victoria’s Secret have featured her designs on private label and she’s had showrooms in LA, NY, Dallas and Chicago.

Always seeking the next challenge, DeCourcy formed her band The Rocktarts in 2013 and with one album produced and a second on the way, she balances her passion for songwriting and singing with her roles at the creative director for Studio 317 and Michelle Decourcy Designs.
